Hello, everybody, and welcome to this new episode of my podcast, rabbi Daniel Lapin show and on this show

I'd like to try and overcome some of the the lies that get purveyed as as fact and the

easy ways in which truth becomes distorted.

Look, the trouble is that it's not only that you have to defend yourself from the clowns,

creeps, crooks, and cranks of the world.

More seriously, we have to be concerned by political propagandists.

For instance, a very prominent and prestigious politician recently stated that one of the worst

problems facing the United States of America is income inequality.

Honest to goodness, your rabbi wouldn't lie to you.

A politician whose name you'd know actually said, yes, that one of the biggest problems facing America is income inequality.

And that is at a time when you've got Arab and Muslim extremists, you've got Iran getting the bomb,

you've got China on the march in the Pacific, let alone, let alone tremendous economic

threats to the United States economy. I mean, I could go on and on and on, let alone the IRS and

the TSA and the post office and the Amtrak and everything else wonderful that the government has brought.

And the biggest problem is income inequality.

See, the trouble is that people, and in one way or another, we're all susceptible to this.

I'm not holding myself out as an exception we're

all susceptible we all have our own particular weaknesses but the bottom line is that it is all too

easy to be seduced by slogans and to be misled by mottoes. It is.

You hear things and they sound plausible.
