So let's start with your background.

You worked in public policy for Google for 12 years.

That's right.

And we've like had conversations in the past about what, what you did there.

But just for the benefit of the audience, what type of work were you engaged in

while you were at Google? Sure. Well, even going further back before that, I started my career

in Democratic politics as a congressional aid in the late 1990s. Yeah, you worked for Joe Lieberman.

Yeah, yeah. Well, my first job was actually, I'm from Bakersfield, California. My first job was for my local congressman who was a guy named Cal Dooley.
