Hey, good morning. It's Patricia Murphy. It's Monday. This is Seattle now. The price of eating

out in Seattle is truly eye-popping these days. And there's a lot behind that, inflation, labor costs,

and restaurants still recovering from COVID shutdowns.

Today, we'll check in on the health of Seattle's restaurant industry and get some dining tips from Tan Vin.

But first, here's what's coming up this week.

Thank you. what's coming up this week. Hey, it's banned books week at the Seattle Public Library. Look for displays of banned books at several library locations.

SPL is also putting a spotlight on its Books Unbanned program, which provides free digital library

cards to teens and young adults across the country. Seattle Public Library says it's given out

more than 10,000 cards in two years. Yesterday was the first day of fall, but don't throw on that

cozy sweater just yet. The National Weather Service says we'll have mostly sunny days this week with highs in the 70s.

Things will cool down a bit as we head into the weekend.

It may still feel like summer, but make no mistake.

That sun will set before 7 p.m. by the end of the week.
