Hi. Hi. So this is Graham Stark. Yes. I was supposed to mention Desert Bus for Hope when we

were recording our Sunday school episode. So what do people need to know? Well, it's our 12th year

of the Desert Bus for Hope tonnraising marathon. We are well into it. Over probably over half

way through the actual run at 10 of recall and early this evening we've passed over $400,000

raised this year. Desert Bus is a video game created by pen and tellers as a well I mean

Desert Bus itself was just a bonus game as a partial joke slash political statement on the

disc for pen and tellers smoking mirrors which itself was a game for the Sega CD that was never

released. It's considered the most boring video game ever made. For 12 years you've been

every summer been playing it for as long as you possibly can for charity. Charity is called child

and it supports children's hospitals all over the world by providing toys and games and in some

cases just direct financial support to basically make it suck less to be a child in hospital because

it's awful to have to be in a hospital for excited periods of time. It is so much worse if you're a

child and so we just think it's a it's a great cause and using because child's play was founded

by the people of Penny Arcade in response to a newspaper article from a Washington's

newspaper that basically alleged that people who play video games are basement dwelling

trouble diets that will never contribute meaningfully to society. But I think we all understand

that that's changed now right? Yeah exactly so you know we just like that the charity was spawned

for very similar reasons to the creation of the game Desert Bus which were both sort of a bit of an

FU to people who didn't understand video games or children or frankly people. Yeah I know video

games are beating everything unless you're going to make an Avengers movie if you want to make a big

buttload of money you got to make a video game. Yep how about your suffering now I think you're

like our 100 Nate or something like that is that right? About that right now yeah it's basically
