I have introduced myself many many times but my husband keeps reminding me periodically

So let me just take a second to bring you up to speed.

I am somebody who has struggled with my weight, my whole life I started really gaining weight

probably eight, nine years of age and it just kept going from that point on.

I struggled with binge eating starting at that age as well.

I gained quite a bit of weight going through my younger years and teens.

I did a really restrictive diet lost a lot of weight when I was in high school and then

once I got into college in the real world I progressively continued to binge and restrict

and gained more weight than I had previously lost.

So at one point I lost 80 pounds and then I ended up gaining about 170 pounds.

So I got well over 300 and when I had my son in 2006 I decided that things were going

to be different.

I had done a decade or more of yo-yo dieting, restricting, overeating, bingeing and I said,

you know, I'm not going to do this anymore.
