And we do have a Big 12 team in the final four for the first time in three years.

It was KU in 22, the last Big 12 team in a final four.

So here we are, the Houston Cougars, of course,

getting set to take on Duke on Saturday night. Matthew Postens, our lead Big 12 basketball writer is here joining us. And I will say, Matthew, it feels good. If the Big 12 didn't make

the final four for a third straight year and we had three SEC teams in this thing, which we would have had, I would have just killed myself.

It would have been ugly.

But you know what?

Thankfully, we got a Big 12 team in there.

So life is good right now.

How are you feeling?

Yeah, I feel good.

I think Houston is more than earned it.

They got to the Final 4 in 21 when Baylor won.

They were in the American Athletic Conference back then.

But, you know, this is great for their program.

They've had three periods of sustained success as a program going back to the 60s.

Obviously, Guy V. Lewis in the 80s.

And now, you know, Calvin Samson's got them back in a

position where they can do something that no other Houston team has done before, which is win a
