Hey, it's Andy. Thank you so much for joining. I know throughout most of this quarantine, we've

been trying to make this podcast and escape from everything that's going on in the outside world.

But unfortunately, our favorite things keep intersecting with the outside world.

Today's guest is Grant Pinkerton. He owns Pinkerton's barbecue in Houston. It's one of the great

barbecue joints in the whole country.

It's fairly new, but has established itself very quickly as one of the best. But just like any other

restaurant in this day and age, it's going through some tough times right now and Grant has had to

make a lot of adjustments to keep it going. You'll find out exactly what he's had to do in the last

few weeks just to make sure he has a sustainable business going forward. We'll also talk about

how he got into the barbecue business. And of course, he is a huge Texas Longhorns fan.

It was at every single game last year. We're going to talk a little bit of Texas with him and talk about his hopes for the future

of the Longhorns, because he's seen him at their best, he's seen them at their most mediocre,

and now he's ready for a resurgence.

And then, of course, I had to go the next time I was in Houston and it's amazing.
