Well, well, well, chip, chip, chip. Here we are. Hey, hey. You know, I almost accidentally hit leave meeting. I was like, that would be the perfect way to start this off. That would be savage. It's like, we're canceling shit and you're like, canceled. Boom. Bye, Bob said podcast. I'm out. well the Well, the reason I started with such hesitancy to anyone who's listening. We,

0:26.3

Chip and I, first of all, have done this podcast without pressing record about 10 times now. And I finally was like,

0:32.8

we have got to stop doing the podcast without doing the podcast. Like that's what we say when sometimes we're

0:38.4

prepping and we're analyzing and we're brainstorming and we start having these conversations.

0:43.4

They're actually really good like debatable conversations a lot of times. And I haven't pressed

0:49.6

record. And then we come on the podcast, try to say the same thing. And it never works out the same.

0:54.6

True. But with this one in particular, there's a little bit of sensitivity and we wanted to make sure that we didn't cross a line. Yeah. So we were sort of getting our ducks in a row. And we also don't necessarily like, we agree on it. But it's like all of our points aren't exactly the same.

1:12.8

So we wanted to talk through it a little bit. But let's talk through it with the listeners.

1:16.7

We weren't exhaustive. Yeah. Let's let them in on what we're talking about. So this month, as you guys know,

1:22.6

obviously on the podcast, we always pick a word of the month. And this month's word is housekeeping.

1:27.4

I was actually

1:28.3

really excited about this one. This to me really resonates as like how I try to live my life as a

1:35.0

human in general. Like I kind of just am always wanting to do this deep dive. I find life to be very

1:40.0

fascinating. I find the way people operate to be very fascinating. And so this like really

1:45.2

excites me, this word. But, you know, the second week of the month on the edge, we always try to

1:52.4

incorporate a pop culture theme. And so Chip and I really went back and forth on this one, like,

1:58.4

really went back and forth. We also, we're really tired of like, we don't want to like bash celebrities. We talked about that a couple months ago. Like, we kind of wanted to shift the way that we did the pop culture thing and just talk about things that are relevant in pop culture, but not necessarily. And fun and fun and light and all the things. And that's been really difficult these last couple years. I know a lot of you guys have emailed me and they're like, oh, the format's changed. It's too serious. And I'm like, well, are you living in the same fucking world I am? Because shit is falling apart. Our pets heads are falling off. I say it all the time. It's just like life is hard right now. And so it's really difficult some weeks to find these positive, like,

2:36.7

happy light topics.

2:38.0

And as much as we want to bring that to you guys,

2:40.1

we're just humans living in this world too.

2:42.1

And I'm like,
