a feel good football Friday.

All good for the New England Patriots as they smack around the Jets last night.

Good first drive by Justin Field and the Jets offense after that.

A lot of nothing.

But as we expected, this was a 12.5 point spread.

They won by 13, so the books got that just about perfect.

And the Patriots now have won eight in a row in the NFL, which is really, really tough to do.

And Drake May showing everybody last night on a national platform that he is right there in the MVP running.

And you mentioned the cool, the calm, the collected, he just understands everything that's going on.

And to go, to be one of those guys who had one offensive coordinator in his rookie season,

then gets another offensive coordinator in his second season in the NFL.

And to look that in control might be the most impressive thing about him.

You know, behind Mike Braybo being maybe the best hire in the NFL offseason,

I would say that Josh McDaniels was number two because now you got a serious player

and you hear Mike talking about him loving ball.

That's the thing that I've been telling you over the last like five or six years now.

This is the whole thing that Peyton Manning back when he started came into the league and then Tom Brady followed up on. And now everybody is looking for that player that's not about their brand, but it's about the game of football. And that's why Shador Sanders hasn't seen the field. You know, he had all this stuff going on off the field and, you know, all the bling, all the NIL stuff, all the nice cars, all that kind of brand stuff and all the social media presence.

A lot of teams don't want that.

That's not what they're looking for.

They want the kid that really loves the game of football and that is going to pay the price to become great.
