You know, I just wanted to say congratulations to somebody.

I think we all like, and we all appreciate.

We all appreciate the situation he found himself in, handled it superbly, took on a new role,

and then last night he was recognized for how good he is at what he does.

And his name is Greg Olson. He's the number two analyst behind tom brady at fox he won the emmy for best personality uh in that category and

you know tom brady was also nominated in that category was troy ackman uh i don't know i don't know

who the nominee he should have gotten it but what i'm saying like saying, like Greg Olson won it. And he was the one that was the number one analyst that Fox worked with Kevin Burkart. And of course, Tom Brady retired, got the $370 million deal. And to Tom's credit, by the way, he has gotten a lot better. Oh, he was great last year. lot better year. No question about it. But Greg Olson's been hanging in there doing his thing. He's been solid. He's, you know, his personality as such, it's pretty straightforward broadcast. It's not about him. And he does a really good job, and he got nominated, and he won. So, congratulations to him. I think that's a pity spot there? You know, it could it be, I mean, you know, the Emmy voting is kind of weird. You know, I never won an Emmy so I don't know, but it's kind of weird. Sports Emmy. Sports Emmy, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And I will say, though, I was really happy to see that because, let's face it, you know, he's, he was at the top, got asked to move, you know, or got told the move that you're going to number two. He didn't have to accept it. He could have said, I quit, and he didn't do it, and he kept it. And all that work has benefited him, So I just thought congratulations.

Maybe it worked out better for him.

I know that he lost a little bit of money in the process, which isn't great for him. But I mean, at this point, he's a great guy.

Listen, he's a great guy.

He's a great representative of our league and he does a wonderful job.

So good for him and congratulations.

The other thing I wanted to bring up to you is this whole Jackson Dord, Abdul Carter, situation in regards to the head coach of the New York Giants. And that's John Harbaugh, who's had to, you know, he's inherited some issues with this team. Dexter Lawrence was one of those issues. He's gone. And he's gone. I don't think he'll do anything in regards to this. He may bring a player or two in or both of them and say, we good guys. Everybody good now. And everybody will be fine. It's not going to affect the football team at all. These are young guys. They're trying to make millions of dollars. They're trying to win a championship.

It's the offseason.

Nothing's going on.

So as I saw Tiki talking about it yesterday, he's right.

It's sports talk fodder.

It's the chum that we live for in sports talk.
