Dave Weiman joining us right now live from spring training in Peoria. Dave, how's it going? It's great, man. How are you guys doing? Look at me. I'm sitting out in the sun. It's not too hot today. It's gentle breeze. We're talking baseball, football. Everyone we joined. Stop looking at me. Stop it, Lefco. I don't know why he's staring at it. But yeah, it's good, man. It's really good. We were able to listen to a few interviews you guys have done so far. All fantastic. Was there a moment, a quote, an interaction that kind of stuck with you after that you just thought was great? Just Logan. Watching him, you know, because, shoot, I've been coming. I've got to have to look up how many times I, I mean, I've been coming down here to spring training since, like, it was Danny Dave and Moore days.

1:02.6

So I can't remember, was that like 15 maybe?

1:05.3

But anyway, we've been down here a long, you know, coming down a long time.

1:09.1

And, you know, you run into these guys like Kate

1:12.3

Anderson, which we talked to him today. And, you know, he, I'm looking at him. He's 21 years old.

1:18.6

1:24.5

he's got a child and he's married and he's just, you know, mature and everything,

1:29.2

but he's still super funny and still kind of has kept that sort of like his rookie charm that

1:35.1

that he had early on. It's really cool to see. And I think really for the Mariners, it's just a sign

1:41.5

of how they've done such a great job of growing these players and this

1:46.2

roster. A lot of the best players on this team are homegrown. Well, Dave, we got you for about

1:52.0

13 minutes, so I'll hold off as long as I can when it comes to football questions. I'll keep

1:57.6

a baseball to start.

2:02.7

I think I've asked, who'd ask?

2:08.1

Maybe DeVish or someone, but I wanted from your perspective, just what does the energy feel like when you don't have some of your top dogs out there?

2:12.0

Nothing.

2:12.5

It hasn't been anything too terribly noticeable.

2:18.8

You know, I think it's just kind of business as usual, and you still, like I said,

2:22.2

see guys like Logan and Wu walking around, and, you know, it would be awesome.
