Dallas Cowboys now waiting to find out how long

Doc Prescott will be out.

Looks like between six and eight weeks, according to ESPN,

suspected to have surgery this morning.

And then you have Cooper Rush as your backup quarterback.

Here is Mike McCarthy, the Cowboys head coach on losing Doc.

I'm very disappointed because I mean, you just, you know,

for all the injured players.

I mean, you just know how much they put into it, but, you know,

Doc, you know, this is, uh, this is very important to him.

And, you know, he does all the extra stuff.

So yeah, I mean, you never want to see your players go through this.

I mean, it's, uh, it's a long, it's a long journey.

I mean, this is week one.

You know, we weren't, we were not clean as we would like.

Uh, we, you know, we lost an experienced football team.

I thought they were more consistent.

Um, you know, we, we did some good things and when we watch the tape,

there'll be definitely a lot of, a lot to build off of.
