We hit 4 o'clock on this Wednesday.

If you remember yesterday, about 26 hours ago, we were talking about the eerie silence that was coming from the New York Yankees.

That had been almost a week since their season ended at the hands of the Toronto Blue Jays.

And while other teams have had season-ending press conferences, I had just watched the Tigers won.

We had heard nothing from the New York Yankees. And the longer there's silence, the more you ask questions. Well, it took less than 24 hours for the Yankees to at least announce there will be a season-ending press conference, which will take place tomorrow, where Brian Cashman will address the fans, address the media, and in-toe Aaron Boone. Yes. So what do we know?

He's not getting fired. Unless it's a public firing, which I doubt. Has that ever happened? No. No. Nor should it. That's very mean. Nor should that ever happen. That would be awesome. Yeah, that would be great. Depends which, too. I mean, I wouldn't want to be fired that way. I'm just saying.

And that's it. I leave. But Brian Cashman is going to meet the media tomorrow. One of the other things that came out today is that Anthony Volpe, and it's certainly not a surprise based on the injury he was dealing with, underwent, which means it's already happened, surgery to repair a torn labrum. but the torn labrum is in his non-throwing shoulder. So we have to keep that in mind. Yeah, but it's still his lead arm for hitting. Okay, no, you tell me. I mean, how much of a timeline will you expect for Anthony Volpe to return a game action? And by the way, I think Cash will answer this tomorrow. Right. The best he can. Of course. It was different for my son because he was playing football. Right. The torn labor, and it was in his throwing shoulder. So that's why he couldn't play baseball anymore. And so he took his time returning, but it's also he's going to play football. Right.
