This is the first president ever in history to ever work this week. This is a vacation

week. In fact, as he pointed out, every president takes the month of August off. You remember

Bill Clinton would take a big vacation to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket, and Joe Biden every

August take the whole month off, go to Martha's Vineyard borrow the home

of a hedge fund billionaire Obama did it every president takes the month of August off no president

has ever worked August and certainly no president has ever worked this final Labor Day week this

vacation week.

It's unheard of.

And as he pointed out, he's killing the staff, the press corps.

They've never had to work like this.

If you were in the White House press corps in the Biden years, there'd be nothing on the schedule for days on end.

The only thing on the schedule, maybe once a day, and not every day, but once a day,

there might be a briefing from the White House spokesman, the press spokesman.

So at 1 o'clock, you'd have to go into the briefing room for about a half hour with Corrine John Pierre.
