Welcome back to first take on this Veterans Day, just a really special day around the country.

Jeff, what does Veterans Day mean to you?

Oh, it means the world.

I just want to say to all the veterans who have served our great country. Thank you for selflessly serving. Every man and woman who's served in our U.S. military, we can't tell you and say thank you loud enough. We appreciate your sacrifice, what you and your families go through to protect our country. God bless you and best to all. It means the world to me.

And all my family members who are vets, I love you, and I can't tell you. Thank you enough. And it's especially important, first of all, I echo those sentiments, 1,000 percent. And secondly, is especially important enough to say it on a day like today, considering the times that we've been living in, you know, how we just sit up there and having to deal with a shutdown and how we were hearing noise about even military veterans not being paid to something,

which is one of the most inexcusable things that should ever happen in this country.

And one of the things that I think is important to mention is that this is distinct and separate and apart from Memorial Day.

That's right.

Memorial Day is a day to celebrate and honor those who died serving our country.

But we need to honor those who are still alive and still serve in our country.
