Go figure.

We talked about the new documentary that's out about the 1999 Woodstock festival.

I remember vaguely the original Woodstock.

I remember that my oldest brother wanted to go and he wasn't allowed to go from Ohio all the way to upstate New York.

But I just remember seeing clips from it and also, you know, you'd hear news reports on it.

But I remember the nightly news would show it.

And then I remember my mom was like, that's why you can't go to those events like that or you shouldn't be going to things like that.

And you been it's not safe going to things like that.

And I'm young at the time and I'm like, it looked pretty cool.

And the bands were great.

But it's a little bit different now.

Didn't they have Woodstock 1994 and then Woodstock 1999?

94 was I think a little more lighthearted.

That was a long wear like Green Day played and everybody was throwing mud at them.

And nine inch nails had a really muddy set too.

I don't think it was nearly as tragedy strewn as the 99 was.
