Well, we got lots to get to this hour. Hey, just get back to Fox, the Dominion lawsuit.

Once again, how did we get it? How did I get it so wrong? And a lot of other people got it so wrong as far as not knowing there would most likely be a quick settlement as the trial began.

One reason, not looking at the history of Fox and Rupert Murdoch, he likes to settle.

He's done it all through his career. It's one way of doing business. Now, a lot of big CEOs,

big corporations will tell you, never settle. Fight the case for a thousand years. If you settle, you're just going to encourage

more lawsuits. Everybody will start suing you if they know you settle. Murdoch, the opposite.

There was a similar case to this, not about any news coverage, but about one of the biggest

divisions, News America Marketing. Competitors got together and sued them for a monopoly or unfair, whatever it was.

It was a billion dollar lawsuit.

It was going to trial.

You know what?

Murdoch just paid it off.

Here's $500 million.

Just dropped the whole thing.

And that was the end of it.

And again, you do invite more lawsuits when you have a history of settling.

But this is just the way Murdoch likes to do things.

He doesn't want to spend that much time in court.

He doesn't want to sit there with lawyers all day.

You know, just settle it.

Make it go away and let's get back to work.
