We now turn our attention to Maddie, who is sitting on, you've picked,

did you go through all the bad advices we'd gotten? And you've picked two. We got a couple here

for you. Both of them did not want their names mentioned, but you can, hopefully they'll follow

up on these. First one, my husband and I were very close with his cousin and wife for years

and truly

looked up to them like family mentors. We even helped them with their business and kids when they

were younger. Later, while building a house near them, they let us stay in the garage apartment

until it was done. On one trip, the wife seemed stressed and distant, so we tried not to burden

them. We stayed mostly in the apartment, cleaned up carefully, cooked for ourselves, thanked them constantly, and offered them help whenever possible. One evening after a long hike with our exhausted two and six-year-olds, I invited her to dinner. She replied that she was working with a touch base later. But after two hours with no response, the restaurant became packed, and our kids were melting down from hunger, so we ended up ordering takeout instead, and I texted her afterward explaining the

situation. A month later, she angrily accused us of intentionally ditching her, despite us explaining

there was never any bad intent. Sadly, the relationship never recovered, and four years later,
