That's when a person's private information is shared online to threaten or harm them.

Governor Braun signing this bill into law, Senate Enrolled Act 140.

Simply posting someone's personal info with harmful intent is now a Class A misdemeanor.

And if the target is a state lawmaker and the doxing leads to serious injury, private property damage, or encourages a crime against them, it now becomes a level 5 felony, which is a much more serious charge.
