How we doing today on this fine Wednesday?

First of all, you're welcome Yankee fans. I'm convinced that yesterday you and I saying, boy, it's mysterious. The Yankees haven't talked in a week. Well, guess what? They're going to talk tomorrow. So we may have had something to do with that. Even if we didn't, you're welcome anyway. Right. That's the way I look at it. We prepped you for it. We got you ready.

More on that and more on what Brian Cashman needs to answer a little bit later on on the program, plus the debut of a brand new game called Which Aged Worst? And were the Jets actually better off keeping Aaron Rogers? But I start with this, Teak. At the beginning of a football season, we all have expectations. Yes. And it is totally normal for those expectations and views of a football team to change as the weeks go on. I'll give you an example. As a Jet fan, I thought they'd be in the mix. I thought they'd be a 6-7-8 win team. I thought they'd be in the hunt. I am wrong. And my expectations for this Jet season has completely changed. They suck. They may be the

worst jet team I've ever seen. When it comes to the Giants, it's a little bit more complicated.

They are two and four. They're trending the right way. But more importantly, the Jackson

Dart era has arrived, which I'm not sure we were positive was going to happen this quickly.

Yeah, you and I thought it shouldn't happen as quickly.

No doubt.

Let Russell Wilson take the lumps or win games or whatever the heck it may be,

let Jackson Dart sit and learn and eventually take the helm at some point in the future.

And obviously that didn't happen.

He's been the starting quarterback for three weeks.

The Giants have won two of those games, and those two wins are against pretty good teams,

despite their recent struggles, like the Eagles and the Chargers. So I have gotten the vibe

around town that the expectations and the belief in the Giants have changed dramatically over

the last few weeks. I can only speak for myself.

I'm in the same place.

Like, to me, they're a more talented team than they were a year ago.

I feel good about their future with Jackson Daughters quarterback, but I still kind of sense they're a five-win team that's not really going to be in a playoff race.
