I'm Brian, I'm on the phone with Oshfin, and today we are discussing Hostel from 2005,

directed and written by Eli Roth, starring Jay Hernandez, Derek Richardson, and

Ethor Goodyenson. If you're new to the show, we are going to talk spoiler-free for the first

15 or 20 minutes, so you're free to hang around if you haven't seen Hostel, and then after that,

we'll take a little fake break and play some transition music, and that

means we're getting into spoiler territory.

So if you haven't seen the movie, you might want to duck out at that point.

But I'm guessing there are some of you who don't intend to see this movie and plan to just

listen to us talk about even in the spoilers.

Yeah, this is one I figured I'd never get around to seeing.

It just has such a reputation around being this really like gory and torture-heavy movie.

So, yeah, hadn't seen it, didn't have a plan to you.

Yeah, I'd been putting it off, but I always knew one day I would get around to it.

the first episode of the year feels like an appropriate time to get right down to business here.

Just embrace torture porn. Yeah. Yeah. Start the new year with a bang. Right. Are you,
