The rumors are flying fast and furious today. We got a lot to get to open to do some more draft

0:06.6

profiles as well, but I think the biggest news of the day is out of Boston where there had been

0:13.3

precious little talk of Al Vorford and his player option than yesterday. It comes that he was going

0:19.1

to opt out and today it comes that the Celtics were really only offering a three-year deal if

0:25.3

Orford wanted to stay, which sounded like was his initial priority. And once the opt out happened,

0:30.5

turns out there are going to be some big offers on the tail for Al Horford. And this is something

0:34.0

that we talked about. I was so surprised that there had been so little buzz about his free agency

0:39.5

because he fits everywhere. Yeah, a piece that I never wrote but almost did was about the parallels

0:45.4

between Al Horford's free agency and Clay Thompson's where I saw both of them as, you know,

0:50.5

not necessarily being the priority for some of those teams with big dreams, but making sense

0:54.8

everywhere and, you know, they played different positions and Horford doesn't have the

0:58.5

benefit of scarcity as much as Thompson does. And now that Thompson is hurt, and obviously that

1:02.4

changes the conversation as well. And so with Horford, what I think makes this really interesting is

1:06.5

the reporting from Steve Bullpet that Horp basically that Horford will take that he's at least

1:11.9

thinking about planning whatever, a signing a four-year deal elsewhere, is that without any further

1:17.9

information, you could go a bunch of different directions with this. I'll list out a couple that I

1:22.5

thought were compelling. Dallas, potentially playing alongside Kristop's Bozingus and Luca

1:27.6

Donchich. It will be different because they're not like a ready-made contender. I wouldn't,

1:32.2

as the Clippers, sign him as like the only guy that they're adding this summer, but let's say they

1:37.7

expected to get Kawaii Leonard. I think a Horford Leonard combination around the other pieces they

1:42.8

have would be awesome. So those were the two that I thought of as being the most compelling at first.

1:47.0

Yeah, Brooklyn seems unlikely because it doesn't seem like I would like to reunite with
