And we're going to be touching on that again in this interview,

but we're focusing on magic. So maybe you can start by telling us what

we're going to be meaning when we say magic. What would you understand by the term magic and

what would the medieval's have understood by the term magic and what would the medievals have understood by the term magic?

Well that's a very difficult question and has been much debated by scholars so much

so that many scholars prefer not even to use the word magic for magic as it were,

but would prefer to substitute something like occult sciences or necromancy or prestige, or prestige or prestigious or hermeticism. The strange thing is that magic,
