All right, welcome to Hoops tonight here at The Volume. Happy Saturday, everybody. Hope all you guys are having a great start to your weekend. Well, the New York Knicks look like they are finals bound as they win 121 to 108 in Cleveland, taking a 3-0 lead in the series. And as we all know, no one has ever come back from down 3-0 in any playoff series in NBA history. We'll see if the Cavs can do it.

0:39.4

I severely doubt it. I want to dig into tonight what some of the similarities between the

0:43.7

Knicks and the Thunder and what I think is going to be kind of an interesting formula for teams

0:48.8

to try to copy as we move forward in this like era of NBA basketball. Excited to break this game down from the perspective of both teams. If you guys have any questions, drop them in the chat. Jackson's going to come on in the tail end of the show, and we will dig into the mailbag and kind of bounce around the league and get into some of the other storylines in the conference finals. You guys know the joke before we get started. Subscribe to the Hoops Center on YouTube channel so you don't miss any more of our videos. We are on the pathway to 150,000 subs. It's a goal of ours. And it would mean a lot to us if you guys would just take a second to scroll down and hit that subscribe button. If you're already subscribed, like this video, sign up for post notifications. That helps us a lot. All right, let's talk some basketball.

1:38.1

big picture because I do think this series is over. It's kind of felt over really since,

1:43.6

since what we saw in game two is the caps just kind of were overwhelmed by the Knicks offense.

1:48.8

And I was thinking about it in the context of the thunder because the thunder for the record, they're not guaranteed to win.

1:55.6

They're up two to one, but we just found out that AJ Mitchell is dealing with a calf strain.

2:01.9

And so now you're dealing with two of OKC's top three ball handlers,

2:06.4

potentially being out for some unknown, undetermined period of time,

2:10.7

potentially all the way through the finals,

2:12.2

potentially just for the next couple of games.

2:14.5

So who the hell knows?

2:15.2

I still stand by what I said last night.

2:17.0

I think the Thunder are far and away the best team in the league.

2:19.3

And I believe that they're going to win the title.

2:22.3

But there are some similarities between them and the Knicks that I have found fascinating
