All right, welcome to Hoops tonight here at The Volume. Happy Saturday, everybody. Hope all you guys are having a great start to your weekend. Well, the New York Knicks look like they are finals bound as they win 121 to 108 in Cleveland, taking a 3-0 lead in the series. And as we all know, no one has ever come back from down 3-0 in any playoff series in NBA history. We'll see if the Cavs can do it.

I severely doubt it. I want to dig into tonight what some of the similarities between the

Knicks and the Thunder and what I think is going to be kind of an interesting formula for teams

to try to copy as we move forward in this like era of NBA basketball. Excited to break this game down from the perspective of both teams. If you guys have any questions, drop them in the chat. So first of all, there's, I want to dig into a similarity between the Knicks and the Thunder

to start. And then we'll dig into some of the specifics from the game. And then we'll talk a little bit

big picture because I do think this series is over. It's kind of felt over really since,

since what we saw in game two is the caps just kind of were overwhelmed by the Knicks offense.

And I was thinking about it in the context of the thunder because the thunder for the record, they're not guaranteed to win.

They're up two to one, but we just found out that AJ Mitchell is dealing with a calf strain.

And so now you're dealing with two of OKC's top three ball handlers,

potentially being out for some unknown, undetermined period of time,

potentially all the way through the finals,

potentially just for the next couple of games.

So who the hell knows?

I still stand by what I said last night.

I think the Thunder are far and away the best team in the league.

And I believe that they're going to win the title.

But there are some similarities between them and the Knicks that I have found fascinating
