If you're like us you're so much more appreciative of your kids' teacher these days. This episode is for all the quarantined moms that are drowning in emails of lesson plans and virtual conferences with teachers. For our Mom Brain tribe that's trying to decode how in the world teachers get kids to listen and focus. Mariah Bruehl is author of the 2011 book, Playful Learning: Develop Your Child’s Sense of Joy and Wonder, and Founder of both Playful Learning, an online resource for children, parents, and teachers, and the Playful Learning Studio, an educational center for children 2 to 8. Her most recent book is 2018’s Real-Life Rules: A Young Person's Guide to Self-Discovery, Big Ideas, and Healthy Habits.
Mariah explains to Hilaria and Daphne how you can make teaching your kids at home easier and more efficient. She lays out helpful strategies and reminds us that parents shouldn't put too much pressure on themselves in these uncertain times.
