Summary

The lights are up, the sales are relentless, and “Christmas” is everywhere—but is Jesus? In this special holiday episode, Mike Slater asks the question every serious Christian has to face: How do we celebrate the birth of the King when the culture has turned His day into a frenzy of consumerism, sentimentality, and mandatory cheer? From Black Friday to office parties, from “Happy Holidays” to the war-on-Christmas noise, Mike cuts through the tinsel to talk about what it really looks like to keep holy days in a holiday world—without becoming a Grinch, retreating to a bunker, or pretending the tension doesn’t exist. Practical, honest, and rooted in Scripture, this is Politics by Faith for the most wonderful—and most challenging—time of the year. This is part one of two. Learn more about your ad choices.
