Organizations. It is the time of your Holocaust Memorial Day,

Holocaust Remembrance Day, and a wonderful, happy story to tell,

given all the tragedy of a man named Chuni Zookahara born in

1900, died in 1986. To tell this story, we welcome somebody

who is here because of the graceful activities of Chuni

Zookahara. This is Zaman Malotech, who is the artistic

director now of a theater, of a theater that gives us great joy.

But the important part is what happened with his father Joseph

and his uncle Abram once upon a time in Europe.

Your father Joseph and Abram, who was Chuni Zookahara and what did he do

for them that you're here today? Good evening to you.

Good evening. Thank you, John and thank you, Malcolm.

I'm honored to tell a story of Chuni Zookahara, who,

because of his heroism, say thousands of lives and as I

refer to it a little bit later, thousands of worlds.

Chuni Zookahara was the Japanese consul general in Lithuania in 1939.

And my father and my uncle were in Warsaw at the time.

And when the war broke out, when the Germans occupied

Warsaw and Nazis came into Warsaw on September 1st,
