who for most of his professional career went simply by Adrian.

I mean, when you can just float through life, self-assured,

that your notoriety is sufficient to use one name only, that kind of sells a lot.

And we also have so, so, so much to say about Adrian, who is widely recognized

to be not only one of the greatest Hollywood costume designers of all time,

he also parlayed his fame into a separate career as one of the greatest American fashion designers of all time.
