But first, it's the Hollywood News Caravan.

Last week, SAG and AFRA agreed to a six-month extension for their commercials contract,

though an AFRA spokesman cautions that there's still

no guarantee that the sister unions will negotiate jointly when the contract expires in March.

Meanwhile, SAG has yet to even make a deal with producers for its expired theatrical and TV contract.

They should get on it because these days people are willing to pay the studios to be in movies.

Well, I suppose it's an unusual set of circumstances.

Columbia Pictures is holding an eBay auction for a walk-on role in Spider-Man 4,

which includes a trip to New York to the premiere and it all benefits of charity called Stand Up to Cancer.

That's no accident because Spider-Man producer Laura Ziskin is a breast cancer survivor.

As of this writing, the highest bid for the walk-on is $5,100, and the auction ends this Friday.

Note that they haven't even yet given the green light to Spider-Man for, but the studio promises,
