Angela Ferraro-Fanning is a Cornell University-certified permaculturist and homesteader in central New Jersey. She practices regenerative homesteading that mimics natural patterns. Her six-acre historic farm is home to working Clydesdale horses, honey bees, all sorts of livestock and fowl, a small orchard, a hobby vineyard, and food forest gardens. Angela is the author of several books, including The Little Homesteader series, The Harvest Table Cookbook, and The Sustainable Homestead. She also co-hosts a podcast called HOMESTEADucation.

really cool stuff and I know you started off is beginning a homestead sometime around like 2012 but I'd love to hear a little bit about yourself and your journey into homesteading and everything else around it.

Yeah, sure, thank you so much for having me here. I'm happy to be here. So I started out as an ornamental hobby gardener.

I used to have a graphic and website design business and I've always been eco-friendly.
