Summary

Despite being nearly 45 years on from the AIDS epidemic of the 1980s, HIV remains one of the most misunderstood diseases. To help sort fact from fiction and understand what it’s like living with HIV, Charlotte Collins is joined by campaigner Sue Hunter, who was diagnosed in 2006, and activist Callum Lea, who has also made it his mission to raise awareness about the experiences of those living with the disease. Together, they discuss what it’s like to receive a diagnosis, how having HIV has changed their lives and what their hopes are for the future.
