A good series, two great teams, to the top teams in the National League.

The Brewers, the NL Central champs, the Phillies, the likely NL East champs going at it in Milwaukee.

And it was a tight series, especially in the finale on Wednesday night.

Brewers walk off a win against the Philies two to one with an RBI single

and the ninth. Phillies took the second game of the series on Tuesday and the Brewers opened

the series with a win. This is a, we're going to get into a little bit more about this series,

some of the heroes, the good things we saw, some of the not so good things we saw. I want to

talk a little bit about the bullpen being in the best shape it's ever been heading into October and then get into

some postseason roster machinations as well. Lots of stuff coming up here on this edition

of hit and season. But the thing that I think is the big takeaway from this Milwaukee series

with the Brewers is just how important

home field advantage is going to be in the playoffs because this felt like a playoff series.
