But the Phil's clearly have their mojo back after that,

I guess what, six-week slump that they were in.

Things are moving in the right direction, although there are some injuries that we're keeping an eye on.

We'll get to that here in just a couple of minutes.

We'll also take a look around Major League Baseball and see how the Phillies stand after these two games this week as they enter the weekend

and a four-game, three-game, four-game series against the Marlins down in Miami.

We're also going to talk about the insane series that Kyle Schwerber had in Toronto

and some fifth starter issues, lots to get to here on this edition of hit and season. But we're feeling good

right now because your Philadelphia Phillies are back on the winning track by sweeping the Blue Jays

in dramatic fashion with their first win on Tuesday night and then a solid pitching performance

on Wednesday. The Phillies won their fourth straight series. They have won nine out of their last 11 and are 14 and 6 in their last 20 games.

Again, I'm not going to say the Phillies are quote unquote back. I'm just going to tell you they exist.

But they are playing much better baseball now and hopefully starting to really churn in the right direction as the month of September rolls along.

Kyle Schwerber, obviously the guy everyone has been talking about in this series.

They could not get him out in Toronto.
