Happy Friday. Nothing makes baseball seem closer than frantically dispatched winter weather

advisories from your local meteorologist. And yes, today, the snow has fallen nonstop.

Not really piling up, but still another reminder that we can say.

Pitchers and catchers report in, you know, 20-some days at this point, still seems pretty far away.

And then also that day comes and you're like, oh, right, that's just some guys showing up for work.

That's not really actually any kind of baseball you get to watch.

It's just, it's a sign-in sheet.

So here we are in the midst of winter with so much baseball news to talk about. I saw Cespita's Family Barbecue. That account tweeted out today that like at this point, maybe last year, um, there were like three of the top 50 free agents still remaining.

And now, this, this offseason, there's upwards. So must have been like 20, 25.

And more. More than they could fit in the tweet. Yeah.

So it's, uh, it's been that kind of winter to this point.

So, uh, yeah, I figured there are little blips of Phillies notes to discuss.

So I figured we could, uh, get some of those out there.

Uh, but Liz, you know, around this date in 2012, obviously you remember Cole Hamels and the Phillies came to terms on a $15 million one-year contract.
