We are in the early stages of the offseason. And boy, the week began with quite a bit of

activity, I think, across the whole of baseball. Yes, it did.

A lot of, a lot of small things, you know, a lot of, a lot of little parts starting to move.

I think you're starting to get a sense more of, maybe, maybe just some hints about what people's motivations are,

what direction teams might go in, uh, based on, you know, the conversations at the end of the

season saying, well, they could do this and they could do this. And obviously the Phillies have a

couple of decisions to make of exactly that kind

and we saw the wheels start moving but before we get to anything else i did want to follow up

with something we talked about on friday liz which is the arizona fall league home run derby

which i'm sure everyone's just waiting for the conclusion of and uh i regret to inform you that Philly's prospect, Gabriel Rincolus Jr. did not win the

AFL home run derby.

His two home runs plus one 452 foot fly ball did not translate to the kind of power

you needed to win this home run derby.
