Well, we now know Joe Biden's running mate in the race for president, it's U.S. Senator Kamala Harris.

And today, they'll make their first public appearance together since the big announcement yesterday.

And this VP pick is historic.

Harris is the first black woman and the first person of Indian descent

to be named to a major party presidential ticket in the US.

Her father is Jamaican and her mother is from India.
