Hey everybody. Welcome to this week's episode of Red Pill Your Healthcast. My name is Dr. Charlie Faganholz,

0:08.0

and we are here with Lauren Johnson, everyone's favorite, favorite nurse practitioner. And we have a topic

0:14.1

that is a very broad topic. And we just want to basically shine some light on a word or a topic that is turned

0:26.1

into a buzzword. So Lauren, let the people know what topic we're going to talk about and then we'll do a

0:30.7

deep dive for them. Okay. So we are going to talk about histamine today. This word, you might

0:36.5

recognize it from some regular medications

0:39.0

that a lot of people take called anihistamines. And these anihistamines are thrown around

1:34.5

your immune system. You may not be able to mount a fever. It's not a good thing to completely

1:41.0

get rid of all histamine, but we also need a balance. You need it in the right places.

1:46.4

You don't want it being released from the cell. You want it. You also want it being broken down well.

1:52.2

And so we'll talk about how the Dow enzyme is part of that player, is that that mechanism is if

1:58.6

you don't have enough Dow enzyme, then you're not going to be

2:01.9

breaking it down. So even if you have a normal production of histamine, you may not be able to
