To those of you who have not found a home church, I just want to say that we are one of the many great churches in Birmingham.

We meet over at Mount Brook High School called Church of the Highlands. We have a 9 o'clock and an 11 o'clock service. Come on everybody.

Come on, everybody. Help us, Jesus. How many of y'all know that things have gotten better over the 18 years, amen?

Praise God. I thank God. I've gotten older. Praise the Lord. It's good to see all of you guys,

every one of our locations, all the correctional

facilities, wherever you are. We're so glad that you have joined us for our very special anniversary

celebration. Can we one more time give Jesus all the praise? Come on for 18 years together. As a church.

Awesome. And I'm going to start right off. years together as a church. It's awesome.

And I'm going to start right off by giving you this verse.

I always think of this verse whenever we celebrate our anniversaries.

And it says this simply, in Deuteronomy, this is out of the message paraphrase. And it says that when God, your God, ushers you into a land that he promised.

So he brought you into this promised land, something actually better than you ever thought

it could be through your ancestors, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, that he was going to give you,

you're going to walk into large bustling cities.

You're going to, in other words, you're going to accomplish more than you ever dreamed

that things that you did not build, well furnished houses you didn't buy, come upon wells you

didn't dig, vineyards and olive orchards, you didn't plant. In other words, you're going to look back

and you're going to think about, okay, now we did this, but we didn't do this. And we did that, but we didn't do that. I mean,

God, come on, God did so much more. Isn't that right, everybody? And when you take it all in,

and the Bible encourages times of reflection, looking back, the word remember is all throughout the Bible. When you take it all in and you settle down and you're pleased and content, make sure you don't,

say this word of it. Make sure you don't forget how you got there. And I want to just take a moment and just,
