0:22.5

You know, your sleeping problem could be happening because your pulse rate is just too high.

0:28.6

So this video, I'm going to talk about all the reasons why your pulse rate could be too high.

0:32.2

Number one, it could be a vitamin B1 deficiency, which a lot of times comes from a high carb diet.

0:38.2

There's many other causes and I've done many videos on B1, but if you're deficient in B1,

0:43.3

you could have a higher pulse rate. All right, number two, a potassium deficiency.

0:47.8

Potassium is a physiological tranquilizer. It calms the nervous system down. If you're

0:53.0

deficient in potassium, your pulse rate will tend to be on the high side and also your blood pressure

0:58.2

will also be on the high side. And so what can create a potassium deficiency? Well, could be you're just

1:03.3

not consuming enough potassium. So you need to consume more salads because if you start having bigger

1:08.2

salads, like at least seven cups a day, you're going to get more potassium and magnesium, which is

1:13.4

another mineral to help calm things down. Also a high carb diet will cause a potassium deficiency.

1:20.1

Too much acid. So if you're too acidic, that can cause tachycardia or it can raise your pulse rate.

1:26.2

I remember consuming a whole bottle of kombucha tea right before a bed. And my pulse rate was like,

1:34.1

so that's one thing to look for. Number four, stress. If you're stressed out, that can raise

1:40.8

cortisol or adrenaline. I have a lot of videos on that. So I'll put that link down below.

1:47.9

But cortisol and adrenaline can keep your pulse rate to high. I mean, try to sleep if you're in

1:53.8

a stress situation or you're being chased by a tiger. Next one is overtraining. If you exercise

2:00.1

too much, that can keep your pulse rate up. And that really has a lot to do with number seven,

2:06.7

which is an autonomic nervous system dysfunction. If you're deficient in your parasympathetic nervous

2:13.0

system, the recovery system, and you're kind of sympathetic dominant and you exercise too much,
