This is what happened on Matchday 9, Friday nights, or Athletic Club Beat Almerier by three

goals to nail Almerier, stay at bottom of the table, then winless and they're in all sorts

On Saturday, Gerona continued their excellent start to the season, their second in the

table, they won 1-0 away at Caddith, Real Madrid beat Ossasuna by four goals to nail at the

Majorca Valencia played out a 1-1 draw and Sevilla scored a 97th minute equalizer at home

against Raya Bayecano, it finished 2-2.

It wasn't enough to save José Luis Mendeleba, who has been sacked as manager of Sevilla,

Then on Sunday, Las Palmas beat Virreal by two goals to one at the Estadio de la Thieramica,
