I love this episode because I think we both felt a little short change like I don't know about this

Sergei and Margo thing but I thought the pre the the cold open did a lot to kind of alleviate and kind of like illustrate how this is kind of gone, you know, that like Sergei has been left to play the patient game and now that the screws and the fire, the screws are in him and the

fires to his feet the Russians are forcing his hand.

And you know I thought that was handled really well. I like the ascension of Alator at NASA.

Yeah. I don't like the dainty shit, but it's interesting and it's Ed doing very Ed things.

Oh totally, yeah.

I love the scene of Kelly standing up to Ed and telling us she's true blue for NASA.

Like, I just thought there was a lot to like about this episode.

And I love the way they handled the time jump.

Like I was wondering, like, okay, what's gonna,

I'm interested in seeing this kind of like Robert Zuberin's a case for Mars

brought to life type of stuff, but like isn't this going to feel really samey for like

the season one people like oh getting to see all the astronaut candidate qualifications and all the

testing and all that kind of stuff won't that feel like a retread and they're just like

fuck all that shit we're gonna and the nature of a Mars mission where these
