Today my guest for the Happy Hour is David Taylor.

David has a new book out called A Body of Praise, Understanding the Role of Our Physical

Bodies in Worship.

David came on the Happy Hour last December and he talked to us all about Advent and I

remember when he was here that I thought I just want to sit and listen and learn from

you forever and ever and I felt that way again on this show as well.

On the show today, David talks about what he actually means about our body of praise

and we're talking about what is our body in corporate worship.

We talk about culture influencing our body within worship.

David says in his book that our physical bodies are not separate or secondary to the

divine image that we bear as human beings.

They are fundamental to the Imago Day.

We talk about that today.

I really appreciate this conversation because so many of us have never stopped to ask the

question, do our physical bodies really matter in corporate worship?

We would think to ourselves, aren't our souls and maybe even our hearts the most important

part of us?

We might ask, aren't our bodies at best negligible to worship and at worst a hindrance?
