Hey friends, welcome to an episode of the Happy Hour with Jamie Ivy.

I'm your host Jamie and we're starting a series today called Collaboration Over Competition.

Listen, we talk about it. We talk about this idea of working together to not pushing people down

as we try to reach our goals to collaborate, to not compete with each other, to lift each other up,

to build each other up. And then we get in real life situations and think,

goodness gracious, it is hard to do this. And so I wanted to talk about it.

And so today is starting a series. We have five episodes where we're talking to,

I was going to say couples, but I meant two people. We're talking to two people who work together.

And they may work together at different levels or whatever it might look like.

You're going to see as we get to these five episodes that it's different every time.

But I also hope that you see people who love each other and want to see the best come out of life for each other.

So today's a fun show. We're starting out with my husband Aaron Ivy and my friend,

Julie Simma-Krieg. Both of them have been on the show before.

So if you've been listening for a while, you've heard them. And they work together.

Aaron and Julie's both work at our home church, which is the Austin Stone Community Church.

And so I have them share their story. I had them talk about the journey that they took towards

getting where they are, the journey that they have taken and working together.
