Today my guest is author, speaker, advocate, and pastor’s wife, Kay Warren. We talk about mental health, suicide, our Enneagram numbers, and the church she and her husband Rick founded and pastored for more than 42 years. Yes, you read that right – four decades serving at the same church!

0:48.1	of it is just me watching her in her husband Rick journey through public ministry and how
0:52.8	they've handled it and so I was super excited to have her on the show today.

1:00.3	I mean literally we're talking 42 and a half years at the same church as a pastor.
1:06.1	There's just something to be said about that and so she's super encouraging about their
1:09.9	intentionality with how they made it to the end of their journey as pastors at the church
1:15.4	with integrity, humility and generosity and that's gonna be encouraging to you.
1:19.1	I want to give you a little heads up that we spend the majority of our conversation today
1:22.8	talking about mental health challenges and even deeper than that talking about suicide.
1:28.6	Rick and Kay lost their son just suicide in 2013 and so we talk about mental health,
1:33.8	the challenges within the church and without the church, how we can be advocates for people
1:38.9	who have these challenges.
