I am super excited for this episode today because I have been getting asked over and over again

what we are using for homeschool this year. And we're going to get into all that. I'm going to talk

about how we decided that we're going to start homeschooling, some of our philosophy, and then

the curriculum we're using. We have a lot of ground to cover today. So we're going to jump in

just a sec. But I did just want to share that this is very new to us. We're just kind of figuring it out for

ourselves. And because I've had so many questions, I wanted to address it on here. This podcast,

my ministry is not turning into a homeschool ministry. So don't even worry. If you don't homeschool or you do

homeschool but you just don't need another homeschool podcast, don't worry, it'll be sprinkled

here and there because it's just part of our life and I just tend to share what we're doing.

So I will be mentioning it as we go on this journey, but it will not become a homeschool podcast. But I've just had so many requests that I wanted to cover it.

So today we're going to be talking about how to get started homeschooling, our philosophies,

and then the curriculum we will be using this year. I'm very excited. So we have a lot of ground to

cover today. So let's go ahead and jump in. So after much debate, we have decided that we are going to start homeschooling

our two oldest boys who are not quite five. We are going to start kindergarten with them this year.

We have gone back and forth for many reasons, all of which I'm not going to get into here,

but we decided that for our family and for our boys, it was time to get started. We are doing a very

gentle, relaxed approach. And we have every intention that if this year is absolutely insane,

then we will just do a second year of kindergarten. And no big deal. With homeschooling,
