Bill Rajo, the Foundation for the Defense of Democracy joins me as my colleague and co-host and we're very pleased to

welcome David Dayoud of the FCD as well to help us with the ongoing tragedy in

the north of Israel, the drone and missile and anti-tank attacks by Hezbollah, a very large

and very well-equipped army of well over 100,000, very profoundly different challenge than Hamas. We begin with

tragic news. Soldier killed another seriously

wounded in a seriously heard in Hezbollah drone attack on Western Galilee. A non-commissioned

in the Israeli Defense Forces was killed and another soldier was seriously wounded in a Hezbollah

explosive drone attack in northern Israel within these last hours.

The slain NCO was named as Chief Warrant Officer Mahmoud Amaria 45 years old, a tracker in the 300th Baram Regional Brigade from the

northern Bedouin village of Ipteen. According to the IDF, five explosive ladladen drones were launched from Lebanon in the attack, three being

intercepted by the Iron Dome Air Defense System.

Obviously, two penetrated.

This is routine in that the attacks are nightly.

I've had conversations with someone who lives nine kilometers from the border and the attacks come in the middle of the night

interrupting any sleep you can have because you have 15 seconds to get to a shelter.

We can guess that the chief foreign officer did not make the shelter.

The question here is what is to be done.

My understanding is that Hezbollah is a threat quite separate from Hamas, quite separate from the

huthies, and that is not in any fashion to be solved by the so-called cease-fire talks that are ongoing on again off again.
