amazing black women for Black History Month and Women's History Month. We are doing it again.

This is round two of Hey Sis, colon, a vibe check series.

And I'm so honored and happy to offer to y'all this episode a conversation with a friend of

mine who is also a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Caitlin Dickerson. So Caitlin Dickerson has been

covering immigration in America for years now at the New York Times and also at the Atlantic.

And her coverage of immigration at the Atlantic won her apollitzer.

She's so good at this stuff. She is a preeminent voice on what's going on right now with immigration,

and there's a lot going on. We've seen Trump in these executive orders and these ice raids and these

crackdowns. I don't think there's anyone that knows that landscape better and can explain it

than my friend, Caitlin. Whenever I see her, I bring her my personal questions about America's

immigration system. And she does this thing where she breaks it down and makes a plain for folks to

understand, but she never makes you feel dumb while she's doing it. She's just good at this.

So this chat, I ask her, I'm like, Caitlin, what's up with immigration and Trump 2.0?
