John Harwood from CNN sees some things. We just don't see. He's got himself a

deep and abiding concern for our, well, what he calls our democracy.

But I think it's also important to say that the core point he made in that

political speech about a threat to democracy is true. Now that's something

that's not easy for us as journalists to say. We're brought up to believe

there's two different political parties with different points of view and we

don't take sides in honest disagreements between them. But that's not what we're

talking about. These are not honest disagreements. The Republican Party right

now is led by a dishonest demagogue. Many, many Republicans are rallying

behind his lies about the 2020 election and other things as well. And a

significant portion or a sufficient portion of the constituency that they're

leading attack the Capitol on Gen 6. He's talking about the Satanic speech

the figure had gave last summer. A significant portion of Republicans attack

the Capitol. He caught himself and said a sufficient portion. Yeah. Actually,

actually. It is turning out to be about one to one, feds and others. And it's

in terms of attacking the Capitol. It might be 20 people who attacked it. How

many of those were feds? I don't know if we're being honest about the count with

the proud boys. Most of the proud boys were, you know, feds. Secondly, it's not

a it's not a democracy job. It's a republic that word matters. Somewhere back

in your memory from college, you know that. You know that. And so let's examine

this threat to democracy. Let's look at this from some different angles and

some different examples and see if we can't figure out if John Harwood is
