week on the dark side and I am so happy to have you here. Welcome back to the only podcast that

For those of you who are new here or who just enjoy hearing me talk, my name is Ali Weiss.

I am a downtown New York Z-List host, writer, performer, and all-around professional

conversationalist, obsessed head over heels with

all people, experiences, and ideas outside the bounds of what society considers traditionally

acceptable, accessible, or quote-unquote, normal. How this show works is that each week I invite my audience and their friends and sometimes

even their friends of friends to share their unconventional life stories through voice

notes and writing behind the shield of complete anonymity. The result of this is half investigative

journalism and half fluffy, rowdy daytime television,

and I guarantee it is unlike anything else you've heard in this deeply oversaturated sonic space.

My goal here is simply to publicize and normalize the touchy subjects that we all talk about

or at least wonder about behind closed doors by getting firsthand accounts from people who have

actually lived through them and as a result have really valuable life lessons to share.

of reading really insane, abrasive blog posts on celebrity gossip sites from the mid-2000s.

I know my Gen Z degenerates are going to call me a boomer for this, but sorry,

celebrities today literally refuse to publicly misbehave anymore and I'm bored, so I have to go
