Summary

We’ve been led to believe Herpes is a “dirty” “STD” — only sluts get it, and when they do, any chance of having sex or finding love is ruined. This episode proves that idea could not be further from the truth.

Our anonymous confessors share varying accounts of contracting HSV1 and HSV2, orally & genitally. From one-off Hinge dates to serious boyfriends to family members kissing their faces as children, no two stories are the same — but each have great insight into battling societal stigma, maintaining an active sex life, and mentally & physically recovering from a misunderstood, and incurable, virus.

Almost all of them say that despite facing obstacles, contracting Herpes ultimately bettered their self-respect by showing them their worth. Now THAT'S something we should want to pass around ;-)

even their friends of friends to share their unconventional life stories through voice

notes and writing behind the shield of complete anonymity. The result of this is half investigative

journalism and half fluffy, rowdy daytime television,

and I guarantee it is unlike anything else you've heard in this deeply oversaturated sonic space.

My goal here is simply to publicize and normalize the touchy subjects that we all talk about

or at least wonder about behind closed doors by getting firsthand accounts from people who have

This week, we are talking about herpes.

I know my Gen Z degenerates are going to call me a boomer for this, but sorry,

celebrities today literally refuse to publicly misbehave anymore and I'm bored, so I have to go
