Summary

There’s a quiet fear many mothers carry - but rarely say out loud: What if I’m messing this up?What if my impatience, my selfishness, my exhaustion are shaping my kids in ways I don’t intend?

In today’s conversation, I’m joined by Abbey Wedgeworth, author of the the new book, Help I’m Ruining My Kids. Abbey shares candidly about her early struggles in motherhood and the uncomfortable realization that sometimes the problem wasn’t her kids...it was her heart.

We talk about what it really means to be a “work in progress.” Not self-condemnation. Not blaming our circumstances. But honest repentance - the kind that leads  to repair, growth, and deeper connection with our children.

Literally nothing. And I'm not even being hyperbolic. Nothing is beyond redemption. Because of Christ's

He can do it through your failure. He can do it through means that have nothing to do with you.

patience and wondered, have I already done the damage? This conversation is full of hope. But quickly, before we get there, if you have yet to leave a rating and review for the minimalist mom's podcast, I ask you just to pause for a brief moment or two. I know I sound like a broken record, but we are at 976 reviews for the show. I'd love to get to a thousand before the end of the year. But that takes support from those of you that have been listening and have yet to leave a rating or review. So I ask that you just take 30 seconds or less to support the show in this way. It means so much to me and it truly matters and helping others find the content that could benefit from living a more intentional life. So thank you, thank you for taking the time to do that. And with all that said,
